Q & A with Red Cassette

Q : Hi Andrew, can you tell us how Red Cassette came into being?

A : Red Cassette came about after bands i have been in split up a long time ago. I was sick of the hassles of being in bands and being let down by people who promise things they cannot deliver. So i started writing songs for myself, after a while i got the guts to play it to a couple of friends and family. Who all told me i should play it to other people and i should start gigging. So i did, and here i am.

Q : What does the future hold for you?

A :My plans for the future are somewhat blurred at the moment. I am currently looking for a house in London with some friends of mine, and also looking for employment to pay the rent, so i can concentrate on my music, which after all is the most important thing for me to do. I have recently had contact from some record labels including Echo, Parlophone and Tummy Touch but i am trying not to get excited because i don't want to fall to hard if its bad news...if you see what i mean. But it looks as though things maybe moving in a promising direction but only time will tell...
